Nearly 700 meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequented and lively crossroads of the city. When you find yourself worn out or slightly short on funds, consider exploring the city's underpasses, which offer convenient passage to the Old Town or to the hidden courtyards of art nouveau buildings where secret gems of tranquility await – lush greenery, charming white benches, and vibrant rose bushes that provide unexpected serenity amidst the urban hustle. Don’t miss the chance to indulge in the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas, and theaters. The National Theater, located near the river, offers an abundance of cultural experiences tailored for international visitors. Stroll along the riverbank to enjoy live music and refreshing drinks as you watch the sun dip below the horizon behind the iconic Prague Castle.

Played blackjack. It's a continuous shuffle machine. 3:2 blackjack. Table minimum was 100 czk. Not busy at all, probably 6 guests in the casino on Saturday night. The dealer was all business, lacking any warmth or friendliness. I attempted to break the ice by giving him a tip, and when I asked for 25 czk chips for change, he flatly refused. Even when I explained it was for a tip, he just responded, “If that’s all you’re going to give me, don’t bother.” Consequently, I decided against tipping and left after only 10 minutes of play.
